Death and Transition Series at LICHEN CENTER presents a class on “Ancestral Healing and Death” with Jillian Twisla
“Being in deep conscious relationship with our ancestors can change our perspective on many aspects of life, including death. I will share some of what I've learned from my ancestors over the last 7 years of living and learning through the deaths of some of my dear ones, as well as how my perspective on belonging and living and dying have shifted through this learning. There will be a component of embodied practice and lots of space for discussion and sharing.” - Jillian
Jillian is an herbalist, an ancestral healing practitioner, and a shamanic practitioner inspired by the healing practices of her ancestors. Jillian is also a mother of three young children, a lifelong ritualist and animist, and a teacher with 9+ years of experience guiding folks into deeper relationship with plants and other spiritual kin.
Jillian’s work is deeply resourced by her ancestors and guides and she works from a place of co-creation with them to develop coursework and to hold ritual and session space.
